1-9-19 Shelter Transfer

Sandusky comes into AuCaDo Rescue, as a shelter transfer, after an October intake as a stray.

He is a big boy (54#) and has some typical shelter behaviors. He started “playing” with food bowls and then guarding them.
He was not guarding food, just the bowl, some toys, and water containers. He was also barking at dogs going by his kennel.
This is not unusual for shelter reactions, with boredom and frustration. He is doing much better already. He can be kind of a clown actually.

He came in here intact, so that did NOT help matters either. He was neutered on 1-16-19 and vaccinated and tested, etc.

Please, fill out an adoption application before contacting the rescue.
